What is Chipboard?

About Chip Board

According to TS EN 309 (Wood Chipboards - Description and Classification) Standard: It consists of wood chips (wood chips, wood chips, sawdust etc.) and / or lignocellulosic materials (flax, hemp yarn, dehydrated sugar cane pulp, etc. wooded plants). Produced chips are obtained by gluing and hot pressing.

Particle board is usually obtained from lignocellulosic raw material. The chip or small particles are formed into large-surface plates under heat and pressure with the aid of a synthetic resin or a suitable adhesive. It is a material used especially in the furniture industry.
